Kathryn (Kate) Greene was born on May 5th, 2003 in Charlottesville, VA to her parents Kevin and Renee Greene. She is the oldest of three girls. Her sisters' names are Natalie and Emily.

Kate's family moved to Durham, NC when she was one-year-old. When she was in Kindergarten, she began taking recreational classes at Bull City Gymnastics. As her love for the sport grew, so too did her list of accomplishments. That list includes qualifying for the 2018 Nastia Liukin Cup (where she finished 2nd on Bars and 4th in the All Around in the Junior Division), nine individual state championships in North Carolina (All Around x2, Vault x2, Bars, Beam x2, and Floor x2), five individual regional championships in Region 8 (All Around x2, Vault, Beam, and Floor), and Top 10 finishes on Bars and in the All Around at the Junior Olympic National Championships.

Kate is a well-rounded gymnast, a good teammate, and a highly coachable athlete. She picks up new skills quickly. These attributes made it possible for her to skip from Level 8 to Level 10 after competing at one requisite meet at Level 9.

Kate trains 30+ hours per week under her Head Coaches Stephen Maness and Amanda Maness. When she is not in the gym or in school, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, creating art (sketches in particular), swimming, painting her nails, and reading.
